Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Acceptable use
Do not use Forma to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, to attack or overload the service or anyone else's systems, or to attempt to gain access to parts of it you have not been granted. Do not resell or redistribute the service without our agreement.
Your content
What you submit remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you — to store, process and display it back to you and to anyone you share it with. We claim no ownership of it.
Plans and payments
Forma is paid for in credits. Your plan gives your organisation a monthly allowance — 20 credits a month on the free plan — and each call is paid from that allowance first, then from your credit balance. The allowance does not carry over. Credits on your balance never expire. A call that fails because of an error on our side costs nothing.
Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly in advance from the day you subscribe; that day is also when your allowance resets. On the free plan it resets on the first of each month (UTC). An upgrade takes effect immediately, and the difference for the rest of the current period is charged straight away. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You can cancel at any time: your plan keeps working until the end of the paid period and then moves to the free plan.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where we choose to make a refund.
Availability
We work to keep Forma available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so. On closure you may export your content for 30 days; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to it afterwards.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will say so in the service before it takes effect, and continuing to use Forma after that means you accept it.
