Pricing

A call is a credit. A credit is a cent.

Plans buy volume, never access: every plan can call every oracle, in every format. A monthly allowance is used first, then prepaid credits, which never expire.

02 What a credit buys

What bills, and what does not.

askinvalid1Deciding that something does not hold is the same work as deciding it does. An API that billed only the answers it liked would have every reason to loosen its rules.
askerror0Our failure. Refunded automatically, and still in your usage log so an outage stays visible.

03 Questions

Before you buy.

Do credits expire?

No. They are prepaid, and what you buy is added to what you hold. Nothing resets them at the end of a month.

Do more API keys mean more credits?

No. Credits belong to the organisation, not to a key. A second key is for separating environments and revoking one thing without disturbing another.

What happens at zero?

A call that cannot be paid for is answered 402 QUOTA_EXCEEDED, with your balance and what the call needed, until the allowance renews or you top up.

Does a refusal cost a credit?

Yes. The verdict is what you are buying, and deciding that something does not hold is the work. valid and invalid both bill. A failure on our side never does.

Will the same request cost the same every time?

Each call to chart, vector-graphics or coverage-policy costs one credit, whatever the verdict. The same request can come back with a different verdict, so retrying an identical invalid intent many times is a way to spend credits.

Need more than enterprise, or an invoice?

Ask us. Volume beyond the largest plan, invoicing instead of a card, and support commitments are arranged directly.
